A man (who is accidentally declared dead) tries to find a way out of officialdom cacth-22... Gaidai's satire on bureaucracy originally was intented to be a feature lenght film, but due to censorship issues (especially presure from USSR Minister of Culture Nikolay Mikhaylov), the film was inevitably edited and cut down to roughly fifty minutes running time. I think that's a shame - wouldn't be surprised if the bests parts were discarded. But still it's worth a try.
